My name is Ellen, as my business name suggests.
I started my business in the first Covid Lockdown of 2020 as a bit of a hobby to keep me & my 2 kids busy whilst there was no where to go & nothing to do. I’d always loved baking & my kids enjoyed the one on one time with me in the kitchen.
From there it grew into a small home based bakery & has steadily grown in popularity, not only for cakes but for other yummy goodies as well.
I have been married to my husband since 2008 & we have 2 beautiful boys.
Good question:
I make all sorts of yummy goodies as my family will attest.
I began by making birthday cakes, millionaires shortbread, & cupcakes & have
now ventured into the wedding scene, making cakes, brownies, truffles &
shortbread biscuits - any & all of these can be tailored for any & all occasions.

In fact, one of my first customers introduced me to Vegan
baking & thanks to him, I got into not only baking for Vegans

The Boring Stuff - Terms & Conditions
Ellen’s Sweet Treats ‘service provider’ have been hired by the (bride and groom) ’client’ to provide Sweet Treats &/ Cake for the client’s event.
Ellen’s Sweet Treats allows the ‘client’ to use any footage of the products for use on social media.
Ellen’s Sweet Treats reserves the right to use photos from the ’service’ for display and/or promotional purposes in print and online.
In the case of products being collected from Ellen’s Sweet Treats, we will not be held liable for any problems with the Treats &/ Cakes once they have left my care. Any accidents, problems, interference from other suppliers, bad weather, guests or staff is beyond my control.
It is the ‘clients’ responsibility to inform the ‘service provider’ of all timings and locations for the wedding day, if timings are changed it is the ‘client’ responsibility to inform the ‘service provider’ of updated timings.
The ‘client’ agrees to pay a non-refundable booking fee (amount TBC) to secure the booking. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is to be paid no less than 6 weeks before the date of the wedding/event.
A booking form with all details of your order will be emailed to you from either of the emails below upon receipt of the deposit/payment.
Once the remaining balance has been paid no monies shall be returned to the ‘client’ if the wedding does not take place.
If your wedding/event is 6+ weeks away, you will be given a date for the final balance to be paid by. In cases where the event is less than 6 weeks away the full amount must be paid when booking.
In the unlikely case that Ellen’s Sweet Treats is unable to provide the services outlined in this contract for any reason, a partial refund (eg, less the cost of any items bought specifically for the client’s order) may be issued to the ‘client’.
The ‘client’agrees that they have read and fully understood this contract.
